Terms of Service

What this service is, what it is not, and what is expected on both sides.

Last updated: 19 September 2026

What the service is

HEAL Companion is an AI-based reflective companion. It accompanies attention, invites sensation to be named, and offers possible readings to be checked against what is actually felt. It is not a person, not a clinician, and not a substitute for care.

Eligibility

Use is restricted to people aged 18 or older. Age is attested at sign-up. An account discovered to belong to a minor is closed and its data deleted.

Accounts and approval

Accounts open only after an administrator approves them. Approval may be withheld or withdrawn. Credentials belong to one person and may not be shared.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no attempt to extract another person's data, no automated scraping, no use of the service to provide clinical care to someone else.

No warranty of outcome

Language generated by an AI system may be wrong, incomplete, or ill-fitting. Nothing the Companion says may be relied upon as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Every reading is offered as a possibility to be checked, never as fact.

Payment

No paid tier is open at present. Should one open, price, renewal cadence, and trial end date will be shown before any payment, cancellation will take no more steps than sign-up, and a reminder will precede each renewal.

Ending

The account may be deleted at any time in Settings. Access may be suspended where these terms are broken or where continued use appears unsafe.
